Morgan Middleton is a native of Summit, Mississippi who currently lives in Madison, Mississippi. She was admitted to the Bar of Mississippi and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern District of Mississippi in 2019. Morgan is a graduate of Mississippi State University (B.A., Summa Cum Laude, 2013) and Mississippi College School of Law (J.D., Cum Laude, 2019).
In the years between her undergraduate and legal education, Morgan worked in the field of Human Resources, beginning as an Executive Team Leader Human Resources for Target Corporation. She continued as a Human Resources Generalist in Jackson, Mississippi, where she earned her certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) issued by the Human Resources Certification Institute. Morgan worked remotely for a Virginia based HR compliance firm during her first year of law school and remained engaged in the national HR community as an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
During her legal education, Morgan developed her knowledge and skills in the area of employment law through clerkships for both a private law firm and the Attorney General’s Office for the State of Mississippi. She also tailored her education around the areas of employment, workers’ compensation, and employment-based immigration.
Currently, Morgan primarily focuses her practice on representing Employers, Carriers, and Third-Party Administrators in Mississippi Workers’ Compensation matters. In addition, she contributes to general litigation cases for the firm and consults on employment-related matters for clients.
